Our Environmental Responsibility
Circular Economy
Siebec is actively committed to the circular economy through its partnership with Circul’Alps, an initiative led by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) to recover and add value to industrial waste.
Beyond industrial operations, we apply responsible waste management across all our activities, including administrative tasks.
Every employee is involved in daily sorting and recycling, both in the offices and in the workshops.
A simple, visible action that concretely embodies our environmental commitment.

SIEBEC CSR
We are committed to designing and manufacturing products with minimal environmental impact by using locally sourced recycled raw materials, producing in France, using recycled and recyclable packaging, and designing for maximum product lifespan.
Each year, we incorporate over 50 tons of PIR (Post-Industrial Recycled) plastic—such as PP, PE, or PA—into our filtration consumables. Sourced from industrial waste, this material reduces our reliance on virgin raw materials while delivering performance comparable to new plastics. This initiative also helps cut our carbon footprint by nearly 100 tons annually and is fully aligned with a circular economy approach.

Starting in June 2025, SIEBEC will begin incorporating PCR (Post-Consumer Recycled) plastic into its PP product ranges, sourced from waste collected after consumer use (e.g., household packaging, furniture).
The integration of PCR materials marks an additional and more ambitious step in our approach, by giving value to post-consumer waste that is more complex to recycle, and further strengthening our commitment to a more virtuous and demanding circular economy.
Ongoing development projects incorporating this eco-design approach (filtration machines and consumables) allow us to plan for the use of 100 tons of PCR and PIR materials by 2027. Part of these PCR/PIR projects has been supported by ADEME (the French Environment and Energy Management Agency).
Commitment in Our Industrial Processes and Buildings
We integrate eco-design principles into the construction and renovation of our industrial buildings.
Sustainable choices guide every step, from the materials used to energy performance.

Headquarters in Saint-Égrève
Environmental responsibility within the SIEBEC Group is reflected, among other things, by the digitization of all our internal processes. Our headquarters and main production site in Saint-Égrève, located in the Vence ECOPARC zone, is certified BBC (Low Consumption Building): electricity is activated by presence detectors, heating is provided by a water-to-water heat pump, and we use a double-flow ventilation system. Our production machines incorporate the latest energy-saving technologies. Our machines and equipment are eco-designed to achieve the best possible energy performance.
In 2024, we replaced all lighting in our workshops with low-consumption LED lights.
These efforts and investments enabled us to reduce our electricity consumption by 3% between 2023 and 2024.
Sofraper Factory in Annemasse
The new Sofraper factory dedicated to industrial suction for the group, located in Annemasse, will be inaugurated in 2026. This factory will include energy-efficient equipment (double-flow ventilation, heat pump, thermal glazing) and will feature photovoltaic panels covering 30% of the roof for self-consumption.
The Sofraper factory will adapt to the new land-use constraints of industrial zones. Production will take place over two floors with dynamic storage systems to optimize the use of available space.

Lousada Factory in Portugal
Our filtration consumables manufacturing plant in Portugal was equipped with 1,200 m² of photovoltaic panels for self-consumption in 2023.
The 148 kW solar capacity allows us to cover more than 80% of our energy needs and contributes to the decarbonization of Portugal’s electricity production!
The deployment of a second phase was carried out during 2025.
Our Economic Responsibility
Purchasing is a key aspect of the company’s social responsibility. In this area, our CSR policy aims to select goods and services produced in compliance with high social, ethical, and environmental standards. We prioritize local and national sourcing to minimize the carbon footprint of our products. We are proud to choose French and European partners!

Our Social Responsibility
We have an active policy focused on improving working conditions, preventing musculoskeletal disorders, and reducing noise pollution. We value creativity, entrepreneurial spirit, and innovation.
At Siebec, people are at the heart of our success.
We believe that sustainable development also depends on the well-being, motivation, and team spirit of those who bring the company to life every day.
