New range of high-capacity P filters
These new products benefit from the experience acquired with average-capacity L filters: all plastic injected monobloc design, option of joining several vats together to adapt the filter surface to the needs of the application, interchangeable filter units, large choice of magnetic and mechanical pumps.
The centrepiece of the P50 range is the 500 mm diameter monobloc Polypropylene injected vat loaded with glass fibre. Entries and exits are integrated at the base of the vat to take up minimum space and lose the least amount of load. The monobloc design eliminates all risk of leaks.
The lid is also injected in the same way, with a largely ribbed design and a weight of less than 7 kg, which means that it can be easily handled by operators.
The unit is mounted on two injected Polypropylene feet that protect the pump from run-out.

The unit is highly corrosion-resistant thanks to the systematic use of plastic or stainless steels for the tightening components.

A major innovation
is hidden inside the filter: the L-TECH folded cartridge filtration system, which is exclusive to SIEBEC. There are four of these very high-capacity cartridges in each vat. Filter surface is 20 m2 per vat.
The cartridges are available in a wide range of filter gauges, from 2 to 50 microns.
They are mounted very quickly by clips to the bottom of the vat.
The cartridges are washable and may be re-used ten times. They are cleaned by soaking them in a stripping bath and rinsing them with water.
The very large filter surface and speed of assembly/removal mean that the period between maintenance operations can be lengthened and the filter cycle extended, giving significant savings on operating costs.
